Un imponente mirador se puede observar cuando nos encontramos en el Pintoresco Municipio de Filandia-Quindío, donde quiera que te encuentres no puedes perder la oportunidad de subir esta torre de aproximadamente 27 metros, ubicada en una de las pendientes a las afueras del municipio y en la cual podrás apreciar un paisaje único desde el momento en que empiezas a subir la torre.
En este lugar tienes la oportunidad de respirar un aire puro y a medida que subes cada terraza del mirador, encuentras información disponible y guías para que aprecies cada paisaje, es un lugar maravilloso.
Para ingresar al mirador, debes pasar inicialmente por la taquilla, el ingreso cuenta con un valor aproximado de $10.000 pesos, recuerda que es para mantener este lugar en perfectas condiciones, por tanto este sería el valor a pagar para disfrutar de los hermosos paisajes que se pueden observar desde la torre y de ese momento de tranquilidad.
Esta torre queda sobre una colina, por tanto empezaras a subir antes de llegar a la torre, durante el camino encontrarás descansos para tomarte unas agradables fotografías con la imponencia de la torre a tu lado, adicionalmente hay unas estaciones para aprender un poco más.
Al inicio de la torre puedes disfrutar de un delicioso café y otros alimentos que venden en el primer piso y relajarte con tus familiares o amigos bajo la torre, ideal para retomar anécdotas del viaje o simplemente descansar. Además puedes aprovechar para tomarte una fotografía con la gigantesca mariposa acostada, una hermosa imagen hecha con retales de vidrios y espejos que se encuentra en todo el centro de la torre, si deseas una foto profesional esta tiene un valor de aproximadamente $10.000 pesos, si no deseas pagar te la pueden tomar desde el último piso de la torre, la única diferencia es que para que se la tomes a otra persona deberás subir todos los pisos primero.

En cada terraza (piso) de la torre encontrarás una estación, aquí están los nombres de cada una, en estas encontraras un articulo con la información correspondiente:
Nivel 1: El tesoro de los Quimbayas – Trampa del Tigre, Cajones, partidas hacia los municipios de Ulloa, Alcalá, Montenegro y Quimbaya.- Nivel 2: Flaminio María Parra Galindo.
- Nivel 3: La Cometa de ‘chun’- Vereda Argenzul, casco urbano de Filandia, cerro El Silencio, Chochalito, parque Panorama, monumento a Jesús Resucitado.
- Nivel 4: Milagro en Roma – Circasia, Calarcá, cementerio La Inmaculada, valle de Cocora.
- Nivel 5: Las Terrazas – Quimbaya, Alcalá, yarumos plateados, los guaduales.
- Nivel 6: Los Monos Aulladores – La India, Arabia, Altagracia, Pereira, Dosquebradas, aeropuerto Matecaña, bosque de Barbas, cerro de Tatamá, Salado de La Plata.
- Nivel 7: Camino del Quindío – Filandia, barrio San José, nevado del Tolima, nevado del Quindío, cerro de Morrogacho, valle de Cocora, Sierra Morena.
- Nivel 8: Filandia, estrella hídrica del Quindío – Cordillera occidental, Caicedonia, Sevilla, Buenavista, Armenia, La Tebaida, Montenegro, cordillera central, corregimiento La Virginia, Circasia, Calarcá, Quimbaya, Alcalá, El Cairo, Toro, El Águila, Obando, Anserma Nuevo, La Argelia, resplandor de Cartago, Belén de Umbría, Santuario, Viterbo, La Celia, Balboa, Belalcázar, Marsella, Cerritos, Arabia, Altagracia, Pereira, Dosquebradas.
Al llegar al último nivel podrás deleitarte con una vista panorámica del Mirador, es una sensación maravillosa e impactante al conocer los hermosos paisajes que nos ofrece el Eje cafetero, es tan atractivo que te darán ganas de conocer cada uno de los lugares que ves a lo lejos.
Cuando puedes visitarlo?
Este lugar se encuentra abierto todos los días, y se puede visitar inclusive en la noche donde el paisaje nocturno se torna mucho mejor, los horarios generalmente son de 9:00am a 7:00pm, sin embargo durante los fines de semana y en temporada alta se extiende hasta las 10:00pm
Cómo llegar?
Desde el Parque de Bolívar del municipio de Filandia, tomas la calle 6 y volteas al llegar a la carrera 4, es básicamente una cuadra pasando el parque, la carrera 4 te lleva directamente a la salida del municipio Vía Quimbaya – Filandia y a solo unos 2 minutos encontrarás el cementerio al frente puedes observar el gran mirador.
Debes parquear al lado del cementerio o en zonas que te indican los trabajadores informales que se encuentran al frente del Mirador.
